Obituary for Sammy Wayne Watts

Sammy Wayne Watts
Sammy Wayne Watts, 66, of Vilonia, passed away September 10, 2016. He was born September 18, 1949 in Botkinburg, Arkansas to Samuel Hart and Frances Mings Watts. Sammy was a carpenter by trade and he loved wordworking; he was an avid coon hunter and loved all of his coon hunting friends. He was just a simple, country man and home was his favorite place to be. Sammy loved nothing more than to share a home-cooked meal with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and his family was his number one priority, even those who lived in Indiana.
Left to cherish Sammy's memory are his wife, Linda Lee Pugh Watts, of Vilonia; children Sammy Wayne Watts, II and wife Lisa of Vilonia, Lisa Ann Smith and husband Chris of Vilonia, and Antoinette Hollister and Michael of Vilonia. Sammy is also survived by his grandchildren Kristina LeeAnn Walker and husband Frank of Bee Branch, Skylior Jackson Smith of Vilonia, Michael Hollister of Clinton, Cheyenne Hollister of Vilonia and Kayden Brock of Greenbrier; great-grandchildren Christopher Lucas Walker , Cameron Duff Walker, Easton Kole Hollister, Christopher Brock and Joshua Brock; brother Jimmy Lee Watts and wife Janet of Indiana and sister Veda Sellers of Indiana; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Sammy was preceded in death by his father Sammy Hart Watts and his mother Frances Mings Watts Green.
The family would like to thank the staff of UAMS ICU for taking such good care of Sammy.
Memorial Services will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Dennard Community Church with Deacon Ron Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Dennard Cemetery.
